Look At Me

I was looking for a nice and perky graduation song for my pupils this month and stumbled upon this song online. It's very nice and we practiced singing this song this morning and the kids easily memorized it!

LOOK AT ME

CHORUS:
Look at me, look at me!
I’m doing something that I want you to see;
Put down the paper, put down the mop.
I’m growing up and I’m not gonna stop!
So look, look at me, look at me now!
Are you really too busy to look my way?
I want to show you what I learned today
Give me your time, just a little while,
I promise I will make you smile!
REPEAT CHORUS
You know, I just want to make you proud
I want to hear you shout out loud
You’re gonna be amazed,
Showing off, I need your praise, so
REPEAT CHORUS

I can tap dance (“Look at me!”)
I can pogo stick (“Look at me!”)
I can play the piano (“Look at me!”)
I can walk on my hand (“Look at me!”)
I can jump rope (“Look at me!”)
I can draw a picture (“Look at me!”)
I can wiggle my ears (“Look at me!”)
I can do the karate (“Look at me!”)

falling in love again

I've always been vocal that I don't like animals, I never really had a pet but yesterday, I met Rhum - Pam's 2 month old doberman, and upon seeing him, I fell in love with him instantly. We have this bond (naks) and he feels at ease whenever I carry him so I'm planning to visit him as often as I can. As much as I want to adopt him, I know I can't afford to do so. Here's our pic, and while you look at it, notice my new 'do.
I decided to have my hair chopped four days before our graduation day because I just want to. I think I always have a new 'do every graduation.

Taken during our Graduation Ball. I had my hair curled and I liked it. :)

And now this is my official yearbook picture. I miss my hair. I wish I know how to comb and manage 'em to make 'em look like this everyday. Hehe. My friends say I look like Mila.

Have a blessed holy week everyone.

counting my days (part ewan ko..)

This week will be our final exams week and then we will start practicing for our graduation rites. Finally! I will be able to hold my much awaited diploma. And not only that, I might have a chance to be in the honors list for this semester - and I only realized that until last night when my prof showed me my grades. Yipee! Although chances for cum laude is not possible, at least I get to end my academic year right. At least I can tell my kids that even though loka loka ang nanay nila, mataas naman ang grades. I'm so happy.

Last week was the worst week I ever had. Caitlin just got out of the hospital then Caillou got very sick (thank goodness he wasn't hospitalized) and I have a lot of deadlines to meet. I was very frustrated, I don't know anymore how to juggle my responsibilities at home and in school. But I managed to get through it all. And Mr. Pogi gave me a very high mark for my non-teaching performance, now that's something! And one more thing, my friend won in the student council election yesterday. Goes to show that good things happen to good people. Naks!

Stay positive y'all! Happy weekend!

FINALLY!

May taong ga-graduate this March, at walang iba yon kundi ako! Hahaha.

So this is how I looked like during the pictorial, di naman ako masyadong nag prepare. LOL. At pag pasok ko sa room kung saan gagawin ang picture taking, PAK! May nakalagay dun na NO HEAVY MAKE UP. Hahaha ang kulet! So syempre I told them that I want to be beautiful sa aking picture sa yearbook at wag nilang pakialaman ang aking look. LOL. Palusot.

Anyway, I am also one of the Yearbook Staff for this year, naks! Kung kelan ga-graduate saka nagpaka active sa co-curricular activities. Hahaha. Nakakatawa ang reason ko kung bakit ako nag apply as one of the staff, sabi ko lang ang intention ko ay para magkaroon ng solo page sa last part ng yearbook. Hahaha! Naman! At least makikita ng mga anak ko na kahit loka loka ang nanay nila meron naman akong na-contribute sa aking magiging Alma Mater. That's all for now. Love month na, and PAASCU Accreditation na namin this week, dadami naman ang mga plastik na tao sa school. LOL. Ang sama sama ko.
