Gluttony

I went to my aunt's house this morning after our seminar and my cousin broke the news that they won a hefty amount in the casino during their short vacation in Cebu for the Sinulog festival. I asked for a treat of course so I ordered six quarter pounders with large coke and fries. We had a feast because we ate them just about ten minutes after our big lunch. We were such big slobs and while we were munching our cousin's treat, we received a call from another cousin and told us that a distant relative was raped and killed last night. Our world stopped for a while. We were shocked and even though we were not close, we felt bad that this happened to her. I feel for her five children. And I am praying that those perpetrators will get caught.
