Layouts

Here are some of my layouts.

I always wonder how it is to do a layout like this. Black and white photo with minimal colors. I think I did not quite pull it off. Hehe.

Here's a layout I did from the papers and elements of Sir Scrapalot which my cousin gave me. ;)

I also re-did  some layouts which I am going to post on my other site. :)

Yehey!

My rich cousin Ate Suzanne gave me this gift coupon so that I can shop at Sir Scrapalot's kits. Yey! Thank you so much Ate Suzeee, I will have to raid Sir Scrapalot's store tomorrow. Meanwhile, I have to take care of my sick child. :)

Scraplove

So here are my latest digiscrap layouts. I am indeed getting better. Maybe next year, when I have time and inspiration, I can join contests too. And well, maybe next year I will learn how to say thanks to the beautiful people who makes the free kits that I've been using. From the bottom of my heart, really, a big thanks to all of you!

Click on the images to read the journal. :) Ta! Ta! Happy Tuesday!

Sweetness + Vote

For the Sweetness part...

Gavin: cool
Gavin: you're really beautiful
Maria: ha
Maria: what's the connection?
Gavin: does there need to be one?
Gavin: you simply are
Maria: awww
Maria: you're sweet
Gavin: i think it's the way you think, the way you conduct yourself, your looks, everything

And now for the Vote part...

Please vote for Ate Suzanne's entry at PenScrappers since she deserves to win the contest. How I wish I can scrap like that so that I can enter contests as well. Haha! But for now though, I have to learn how to say thanks to the generous people who give freebies that way I can scrap too. Thanks to whoever you are, all I can remember is Timounette. Shame on me. Anyway, VOTE FOR SUZANNE'S ENTRY BY CLICKING HERE.

Should I or Should I Not?

I made this layout two weeks ago and was hesitating to showcase this because I wasn't confident enough with the turnout. I'm posting it anyway. So whaddya think?

The twins are sick for two days now, both have cough and fever. Caitlin's recuperating but Caillou's condition is getting worse, I think he already needs to take antibiotics. Yesterday I checked their teeth and found out both of their molars are coming out so that explains their illness. They're not cranky, thank goodness, and I don't have a hard time making them take their medication. At 3am this morning, Caillou woke me up, held my hand onto his neck to tell me that he has fever again so I had to get his medicine for him. Hehe.

Birthday Blues in a Literal Manner

These are the reasons why I was still awake at 2am this morning. I'm scrapping and happy with the turnout! It's quite hard to find kits for boys so I approached the minimalistic look. Minimalist ba? For me, yes. Haha! Here are my layouts and I hope I can make something much better than this in the future. I'm still raiding the digiscrap freebies since I can't afford to buy kits. Hehe.

I would also like to take this opportunity to THANK all the people who greeted me and those who will yet to greet me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you thank you so much for making me feel loved. I am overwhelmed with the greetings (tissue!). I have no party plans today, no celebration. I will just attend a mass to thank the Lord for giving me courage and optimism to face life's adversities. I only wish for good health for me and my family.

At Least I Tried

I tried scrapping last night and came up with this. I am not so happy with the output but I'm posting it anyway. See, the pc was attacked by a lot of Spywares and Malwares and I gave up finding a cure for them so I decided to reformat the pc without backing it up. Tada! I liked the change for a while because I was able to feel as if I have a new pc. But when I was in my scrapping mood last night, I realized that I also lost my all of my accumulated digiscrap kits! But since I am a positive person, I continued with my "urge" and still did a layout.

Someone's turning 25 tomorrow and she can't explain why she's happy even if she's broke and quite in a toxic situation.

Mental Scrapblock

I've been trying to do scrapbooking since yesterday but my creative juices aren't working.  Well, that happens all the time so it doesn't really bother me.  Anyway, I just finished printing all the needed materials for my cousin's wedding next week but I will still be busy for the post wedding celebration to be held here so that the ones who aren't able to attend the wedding in Cagayan de Oro will have their share of the celebration. And I will be the one to cook leche flan.... Leche talaga! Hahahaha!

My pupils will have their dance presentation tomorrow and I'm expecting a disaster to happen.  We attempted to have a practice this morning but only half of the class attended the practice since today's a local holiday here in Cotabato City. Also, I'm brewing something for someone and the thought excites me so wish me luck!

Here's a layout I made before I end this post.  I don't mean to be rude but I don't know who to give credits to with the layout I made because I used a lot of papers and embellishments and my kits are not well organized. So here it is!

Victory and a Layout

Hello all! I'm happy today because my contestants won as the King and Queen of Nutrition Month and the kids already master their dance for the presentation on the 31st. I'm so happy that I was able to scrap something. I'm quite struggling with the use of brushes but here's my layout anyway. Happy weekend everybody!

My Schoolboy

Here's a scrap I made this afternoon. Credits to the following:

Template: Aisyah Roslan

Kit: Shannon Freeman

**My whole body's aching because I danced the whole day with my pupils.  On the positive side, I had an actual workout!  I'll have another workout tomorrow and I better take Advil na. Haha!

The Flu Virus

I'm not feeling well for a couple of days now and my teaching job is affected.  I easily get irritated but I found a technique that makes my pupils squirm with fear.  And no, I don't threaten to pinch them or anything, thanks to my memo pad! Whenever a kid misbehaves, I tell him/her that I'm writing his/her parents about his/her behavior. So far, the trick is working but I don't think it will last for long so I have to make innovations from time to time. I'm also thinking of following the Constructivist's Learning Theory so that learning will be output based and it also makes my job easier.

Also, thanks for my flu, I was able to scrap. I know I can do better than this but I'll still post the one I made anyway.

Silver Wedding Annivesary

Today's the 25th Wedding Annivesary of my parents and I remember years back, I was planning to sponsor their renewal of marriage vows. It's not gonna happen this year but I still want to sponsor their renewal of vows maybe in the next three years or when they celebrate their 30th anniversary.

I also reported to work this morning, met some of my co-teachers and assisted them with the pupils who were taking the entrance examinations. I've met a 12 year old boy who wants to enter first grade. And there's this 8 year old incoming first grader who doesn't know how to sing the ABC song. I think I'll be headed for doomsville. But on a second thought, teaching these kids makes this pofession very rewarding. I'm lucky to have the twins' yaya who'll help me with the cleaning of my classroom tomorrow. Hehe.

I did some scraps too, by the way. And I don't think I will be able to scrap when formal classes starts. Here's one. Click picture for a larger view.

The fruits of my Scrappin

I am having a lazy week, all I do is watch dvd every single day and that's because we don't have cable in like two days already. Anyway, here's some of my outputs in scrapping. I tried hard.

I have a daughter who loves to give hugs and kisses to those who are asleep and whenever she does, I can't help but take a picture. Caitlin has LOTS of shots with her kissing and hugging her "boys" when they're asleep. And oh, she does too when they just woke up or when they're playing. Bottom line, she's a doll.

I took this picture in the middle of the night when she realized that she's alone in our bedroom. I think she got scared so there's the inspiration. Hehe.

my first attempt on scrapping

With the help of my friends from the yearbook staff, I tried digiscrapping yesterday and was able to make two scraps. The boys kept on teasing me that I am starting to use our office computer for my own hobby. LOL. So here's my first attempt at digiscrapping. It doesn't look great but they said it's okay.
