Chinese New Year Celebration

This was us during the celebration of the Chinese New Year last year (February 6). Iman treated us for dinner at a posh (read: expensive) restaurant then we went for coffee afterwards. It was actually against Iman's will to treat us for dinner but since I was the one who made the reservations at the restaurant, he couldn't say no. He vowed to never treat us again after that night but it never happened. Haha. How I miss the days with my friends. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, Iman's already in London and Mohd's in Qatar. This Tuesday, Pam's leaving for London as well. Imagine those freaks?! Hahaha.

Anyway, I was browsing over our pictures last year and noticed that we were wearing color coordinated shirts without planning about it. See pictures below.

Here's to Teams Red and Pink!

Tonight, I'm going to celebrate the Chinese New Year with my family and relatives. We will be having a small and quiet dinner with roast pig and tikoy but the main attraction for tonight will be the fireworks. Happy New Year everyone!

Happy Birthday Babe!

And the babe's name is Mohd. He turned 25 today, quite a year younger than us (he brags about it like at least once a month). He now works in Qatar and he still has not given me any Galaxy chocolates until now. Well what can I say? I tell you almost everyday that I love you and you will always be my babe (sorry Pam, you're still the original). I wish you good health (stop eating chocolates please, you're diabetic and try to exercise because you're getting big) and lots of love from the person we both know you love the most (as of press time, haha joke only Pam). I have been and will always be your friend from jologs days to the professional days and hopefully until we become old and grey. I miss you, really. Our long talks about our lives, other people's lives, frustrations, fears and dreams. I miss our dinners where you always feel compeled to treat us. I miss those rainy days when we sing our hearts out and drink coffee afterwards (of course made by Pam). I miss those nights when we sing "Leaving on a jet Plane" on our way ride home. I miss our pictorials and bedroom scenes with Pam. And I know that even though we don't get to have long talks like we used to, I know that you know what's happening in my life (of course, chismosa si Pam) and I know that yeah, you care (hahaha sarcastic). I don't tell you these things when we talk because I don't want you to be sad there on the other side of the world. But today's an exception. Of course I don't want you to be sad but I am writing this to let you know that you are missed, cared for, and valued much. See you when you come home and better bring me pasalubong! I love you. We love you. Mwah!

Today is also the 1st Anniversary of our Zaido Group. It happened during the birthday celebration of Mohd last year and ironically, we were wearing color coded shirts without even planning about it. And we named our group Zaido because it was quite a popular tv show at that time and the name stuck from then on. We were already friends even during our elementary and high school days but we only became very close after that night. As I have said, Mohd is in Qatar and Iman is already in London. This month, Pam will also leave for London which will leave me here, alone in Cotabato. Cheers friends! And more dreams to fulfill together. Love you all!

Miffed!

I hate you Iman Tumog for leaving the Philippines without telling anyone of us!  I should have sent something for a good friend of mine in UK.  I promise to kill you when you return back home without our Galaxy Chocolates! I swear I will kill you!

Hahahaha! Good luck on the case though. And kiss your daughter for me.

Quarter Life

My friend Pam celebrated her 25th birthday yesterday and for the first time, she didn't ask for a party from her dad. Sign of old age? Haha!  I tried to do my part as her friend by treating her for lunch.  But our noontime celebration had to stop because I had to attend my class. So I was 15 minutes late, much to my clients' chagrin, but I tried to make up by giving my pupils advance lessons.
Anyway, we had fun especially when Iman came because he's wearing a fitting shirt which doesn't suit him at all. Hahaha! So we ganged up on him until he felt shameful for wearing that shirt.  Too bad Mohd wasn't there to celebrate with us.  Our cult isn't complete without him. LOL.

So cheers Pam! I wish you happiness and youth.  Our lives are easier when we're together. Naks! Keep the spirit of love alive! ;)
