The Blessing

I was slouching today waiting for the so-called Royal Wedding to take place when I received a cal from a colleague telling me to meet her at the division office as soon as possible. I was about to make an excuse but she told me that it's urgent.

So I went to the office and met her. Then she told me that we were chosen to be sent to Davao City for a month long study grant at a certain university there. I was appalled with delight I couldn't contain my astonishment!

So I will be leaving on Sunday and be back by June. The order was rushed because they only received the memorandum this morning. I am sure I'm going to miss the kids.
