I ditched my old layout which a lot of my friends thought of as trashy. Haha! I stuck to it for quite a while because I really fancy three column templates and I made that old template of mine from scratch (of course, with the help of tutorials) so it's harder to let go of. But fickle as I am, I changed the look of my blog earlier today. Some widgets are still missing though and I'm working on it.
And I have to admit that I'm taking this monetizing my blog way too seriously that blogging turns out to be no fun at all. So I have decided to continue writing and less of traffic exchange and all those blogging stuff. I will be on a roll starting today. Hey, I've not been doing scraps lately and it's quite pathetic.
Much have happened during the days after my son's birthday and I'm still thinking whether to share the stories here or not as some of them happens to be personal. Haha. But for the record, I still don't have a love life.

Paid posts often hurt what you're trying to say in a blog. It obscures the real message that you're trying to tell to your audience.
I haven't run into your old layout, but it is often good to learn new things for your blog.
You can be picky to what you want to write online. Not everything is for sharing =)
I like it! I don't know what it looked before of course, but it's a great look.
I'm always trying to improve my blog too, so I can relate!
